Dermapen is a product designed to rejuvenate the skin naturally in a way that encourages the skin to rejuvenate and thereby reduces wrinkles, stretch marks and scars and achieves tightening and skin rejuvenation. Dermapen contains plenty of disposable micro needles with a unique spring that vibrates with automated movements, thus achieving more controlled results. Unlike other products with micro needles, Dermapen has a special vertical sting angle of micro needles that enhances the effect and provides a more uniform and safer method, thereby reducing the possibility of skin damaging. At the same time, because of the vertical stings angle, with micro needles hardly accessible places can be treated in a safer and better manner (around the eyes, nose and lips). Automated movements minimize pain and discomfort, and also provide a faster recovery time.
Micro needles, whose length can be adjusted, cause vertical stings on the skin at 90 degrees and surface damage of the skin, which stimulates its renewal. In this way, proliferation of collagen is stimulated in fibroblasts, cells that contribute to the production of substances essential in healing of the skin, so the skin is rejuvenated by this natural process of regeneration.
Dermapen uses very tiny surgical needles that do not lead to actual tissue damage, but nevertheless our body reacts to the intrusion with micro needles and nerves send electrical impulses that start the healing process and thus increased production of collagen and elastin. The multiple reinforced structure of collagen thickens the skin and thus fills the existing atrophic scars. This reaction of the body is called neocollagenesis.
Since collagen fibers and capillaries need time to form, patience is required. For the first results of treatment, it is necessary wait for at least 28 days, and maturation of new, young skin lasts for up to 2 years after the treatment. Preparation
Just before the treatment, it is necessary to remove makeup and strong facial creams. Shortly before using Dermapen, the skin is disinfected.
Course of the procedure
The treatment begins with basics of beautiful complexion and this is a thorough cleaning of the skin with the appropriate product adjusted to skin type that has been treated. In Polyclinic Lege Artis we use Clarisonic brush for facial cleansing that was designed in a way that is had an extremely broad spectrum of use, with three available speeds and two modes (continuous and periodic pressure), gently removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin on face and body soft and smooth. We will comment on both methods with our clients and opt for the one that best suits a certain skin type.
Followed by enzymatic peeling (liquid + paste), which removes the stratum corneum, and preparations penetrate into the subcutaneous tissue faster and more efficiently. Right before the treatment, the face is disinfected, and the treatment begins with applying REVIDERM Hyaluronate Hydro Balance active ampoule with a patented SPS system that allows the molecules of hyaluronic acid to penetrate deep into the skin. By circular and horizontal movements, micro needles will penetrate into the skin and stimulate collagen production. After the treatment, REVIDERM dermocosmetics is applied in order to feed and calm the skin. For best results, it is necessary to repeat the treatment every 2-4 weeks and up to 10 times, depending on your needs and desired outcome.
