Non-invasive surgical procedures – banding of hemorrhoids with bands, IC photocoagulation, cryotherapy, sclerozation, Doppler-guided banding of hemorrhoidal arteries.
Such surgical procedures are usually ambulatory. They are suitable for treating hemorrhoids of I and II grade. Their disadvantage is that many patients experience relapse and problems return after some time. Furthermore, after such treatment, mucous membrane of the hemorrhoid heals with scarring, losing its primary purpose.
